Song Story: Ascending [Instrumental]

Today’s song story is a little different. There are no words. No ooh’s or aah’s. Not even a face melting guitar solo. Sometimes when you are in the presence of God, words simply won’t suffice. You just have to be there, enjoy Him, and…be silent.

My favorite instrument to play by myself is the piano. I’ve titled this ‘Ascending’ because 1) I like that word, and 2) I love Psalm 24:3-5 and the reality of ascending the hill of the Lord with ‘clean hands and a pure heart’. I’m not quite sure where this will fall on the album.

Take a listen. I need some feedback on this one. What are your thoughts?

  1. def diggin this little piano piece youve come up with. The arrangement of the song flows well,I love the little runs as ill call it in the song like the one at 32 seconds in. It has a great soothing melody that you can get lost in welcoming the presence of god just listening closing your eyes crying out to him.
